Krishan Khurana’s Work Journey in Canada

Krishan Khurana’s professional life in Canada reflects resilience, adaptability, and an unwavering dedication to service. Coming from a strong international banking background, he stepped into a new country ready to learn, contribute, and embrace every opportunity that came his way.

Krishan’s Canadian journey began at H&R Block, where he spent several seasons preparing personal income tax returns. His role involved interviewing clients, understanding their financial situation, and completing accurate and compliant tax filings. This experience strengthened his analytical abilities and introduced him to Canadian financial systems and client service expectations.

From there, Krishan moved into hospitality as a Night Auditor at Best Western Hotel in Montreal. In this role he managed night-shift guest services, reservations, arrivals, departures, and daily financial reconciliation. Preparing management reports, reviewing accounts, assisting guests, and ensuring smooth overnight operations taught him the value of precision, calm communication, and professionalism under pressure.

Krishan then stepped into aviation and customer service — fields that would become a significant part of his Canadian career. At Delta Air Lines, he provided travel information, planned itineraries, made reservations, helped clients choose destinations, and guided travellers through the booking process. He assisted passengers with everything from ticketing to travel tips, building strong customer-care skills along the way.

His next position was with Aeroguard Security, serving as a Pre-Board Screening Officer at the airport. Here, Krishan was responsible for the security screening of passengers, baggage, crew members, and employees accessing restricted areas. Using X-ray machines, ETD equipment, and physical screening procedures, he ensured safety and compliance with national aviation standards. This role required discipline, focus, and a strong sense of responsibility — qualities he continually demonstrated.

Krishan later joined Air Canada / Aeroplan as a Customer Service and Sales Agent. He answered calls from Aeroplan members, assisted with flight bookings, managed account issues, supported clients with online tools, recommended partner services, and helped travellers get more value from the program. His ability to remain patient, resourceful, and solutions-focused made him a trusted representative for thousands of customers.

He continued his aviation journey with Pacific Coastal Airlines, working as a Customer Service Agent at the airport. His responsibilities included passenger check-in, verifying travel documents, issuing boarding passes, handling baggage, resolving travel disruptions, processing reservations, and managing boarding and deplaning procedures. Krishan became known for his calmness during flight irregularities and his strong commitment to safety and customer care.

Throughout all these roles, one theme remained constant:
a genuine commitment to helping people.

Whether preparing taxes, assisting travellers, ensuring airport security, or guiding passengers through their journeys, Krishan’s work has always centered around service, accuracy, and compassion. His Canadian career reflects perseverance, humility, and a willingness to take on any role with professionalism and heart.
